What’s going on?
Frankfurt Motor Show is getting ready, this is what happens. And to help start this week’s discovery list, the all-new, stunning Mercedes-AMG Project ONE supercar. Project ONE, which marks the peak of this year’s 50th anniversary of AMG, boasts the introduction of Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 technology. That means 1,000 horsepower and a top speed of over 350 km / h or 217 mph.
This is achieved thanks to the latest and best hybrid technology of Formula 1, very similar to what we found in the Porsche 918 Spyder, McLaren P1 and LaFerrari. Ultimately, like the aforementioned, the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE is committed to providing an uncompromising combination of race track and road performance.
Project ONE joins the four-door concept presentation of the AMG GT at the Mercedes-Benz and AMG at the Frankfurt Motor Show this year. “Mercedes-AMG Project ONE is the first Formula 1 car with MOT approval. Our high-performance hybrid assembly comes from motorsport, and the electrically driven front axle creates an amazing mix of performance and efficiency, ”says Ola Källenius, member of the board of directors at Daimler AG, responsible for Mercedes research and development. “With a system capacity of more than 1000 hp and with a top speed of over 350 km / h, this hypercar is controlled exactly as it looks: it is breathtaking. ”
